Bags A789 & A562, Wythe Hotel, Brooklyn, New York

By Greg Moniz

Brooklyn's Wythe Hotel has become a sort of home away from home for us. Housed in an old brick mill building (b. 1901) that soars amongst its low-rise warehouse neighbors, the hotel sits on Williamsburg's waterfront, allowing guests near panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline to the west. It's been open for almost 2 years now, and when business needs to be done in New York City, we lay our heads there.

We snapped this picture right before our last check out during a Sunday-morning moment right before the now nearly ritualistic trek back to New England was set to begin. All was quiet, all was clean, and the winter sun shone brilliantly. And our bags looked beautiful and ready to travel.
