Wianno Senior
Boat was designed by Horace Manly Crosby in the Winter of 1913, specifically for racing in the Nantucket Sound. The Nantucket Sound is know for being one of the windiest yet shallowest points on the eastern seaboard, thus they needed a boat to fit these very specific waters. The Wianno Senior is designed with a shallow hull, yet a strong Gaff rig to withstand the heavy winds.
