Double-layer leather bottom with no metal feet to ruin fine finishes

By Lotuff Leather

We’re often asked why we don’t attach any metal feet to the bottom of our travel bags. Metal feet can harm any fine finish on which the bag is placed – whether it is the fine wooden finish of a boat or the leather seat of the back seat of your automobile. Metal feet are also notoriously bad at handling wear and tear, too.

Instead, in order to strengthen the bag and protect its contents and its exterior, we add an extra layer of leather to the exterior bottom of the bag and wrap the handles completely around, resulting in a bag of incredible strength and durability, no matter how full it is.
