I bought my tote in the autumn of 2022, shortly before the birth of my son. We have routinely used the tote as a makeshift diaper bag and travel bag for several trips. We have overfilled it countless times without incident. We have taken it on wet boat rides and got caught in the rain with it. No problem at all. We have had various spills inside and outside the bag, it shrugged them off with ease. You usually only get this kind of beautiful leather and handiwork on a bag that is extremely delicate and easy to spoil. Not this tote. It is, indeed, built different. I have been eyeing this bag for years and now I’m kicking myself for waiting this long! I am truly blown away by the thickness and beauty of the leather. I was also pleasantly surprised by the packaging. As soon as I opened the pretty box I was engulfed by the rich scent of leather. I wish I could bottle that fragrance! I am incredibly picky about the quality and craftsmanship when it comes to my bags. I have a large collection ranging from local handmade to luxury French designers, and this one has truly impressed me in every way. I’m blown away. I had been eyeing this tote for years for work/travel and have used up many inferior totes in the process. Finally went for it this year and bought both the Working Tote and the Zipper Pouch in chocolate brown (I'd gotten a $1,000 gift certificate and could swing both). What a stately pair they are together. The color coordinates perfectly with my Louis Vuitton key pouch, though I'd buy the braided key chain from Lotuff, if I could. The hardware and leather are incomparable.

Like the below reviewer, I carry it proudly for work in a sea of black brief cases. It holds everything with ease and looks amazing.

One more note: For reference, I'm a 5'6" female. I add this because I was really concerned about the size and nearly did not order for that reason. So glad I did.
