The materials and design of the bag are absolutely beautiful. The leather is GORGEOUS. It's both supple and structured where you need it to be. The colors are rich, the hardware feels expensive, and the stitching is immaculate. I also love how there is minimal branding on it. The design of the bag is both timeless and elegant. Something unexpected (but most definitely welcome) was just how capacious the Arc handbag truly is. For me, it is the perfect everyday bag.
I've been using my black/red Arc as my daily bag for over a month and couldn't be more pleased! It was a bit of a shock pulling it out of the box -- it's bigger than it looks in photos/what you imagine from the measurements -- but it's really grown on me.
While the design is a basic saddle shape, the quality of the rich leather and substantial brass hardware elevate it to something more interesting and unique, while remaining a manageable weight. Of course, the leather scent is absolutely divine, "new car smell" x 100. The strap length has the bag hitting my mid-to-upper hip, which is perfect; I'm 5'6 and most similar bags end up flying around mid-thigh in an uncomfortable, unappealing manner. The only annoying thing is that if you don't click the closure shut, the flap moves as you walk and makes an annoying tapping sound.
I was sad that the bag wouldn't fit the magazines I read during my commute, but turns out the New Yorker slots perfectly into the back exterior pocket for hands-free jostling on the train. The main compartment is big enough that I can stuff a thin jacket, small umbrella, several reusable grocery bags, or even a sideways iPad into it, though not all at once. This past weekend it got rained on heavily during an ill-advised shopping outing, but I brushed off the water droplets and you can't even tell it was ever wet. It looks great with casual athleisure or more polished outfits. I own several Lotuff pieces and this is my favorite by far.
I fell in love with the quality and design of this bag! The leather is beautiful, and the pop color interior is a fun added level of detail. The size is perfect—fits a full size wallet and also has card slots, which are great when I’m traveling. I extended the shoulder strap to a custom length to wear this as a crossbody. Lotuff’s team was absolutely wonderful to work with.
After a lifetime of Vuitton, Coach, Chloe, etc., I am SO happy that I stumbled upon Lotuff Leather! The customer service has so very helpful and friendly with many good suggestions. I got the Arch Shoulder Bag in black bridle leather and extended the shoulder strap to be cross-body. It is asuper wonderful bag!. The craftsmanship and quality of leather, brass fittings are high-quality and "old school". So glad to be buying American without giving up any style or quality. Enjoy!
I purchased the Arc bag in black a few months ago, after a long search for the ideal handbag to take traveling: this is it! Not too heavy; enough room to hold a 12 oz. klean kanteen water bottle, Fujifilm X-Pro camera, and a slim book; card-holder slots; a lovely locking clasp; and an outside pocket that's the perfect size for a passport and boarding passes. The quality is exquisite and yet you don't need to be overly careful with the bag, because it's the type of item that looks better with use. I love it!
