My wife recently surprised me, with what I believe, is the most beautiful portfolio I've ever seen. She wanted to get me something nice to put my sketchbooks in for travel. She told me when she placed the order, that it was out of stock, so she sent an email to Lotuff, asking if they would make one. She also asked if they could use high grained leather with a deep chocolate / espresso bean color (she knows me very well). And they executed these details with such a fine-handed craftsmanship. There's such a beautiful variation of subtle to pronounced grain throughout this high quality leather in such a way as if it was truly chosen with consideration to placement. The leather ranges from thick to thin in all of the right places with consideration to weight and durability. The hand-stitching was done with laser precision, and not a loose thread anywhere. The color is so rich, earthy and muted, just the way I would've wanted it. And the reverse suede interior has an attractive almost terracotta color that looks beautiful with the deep chocolate grained leather. Lastly, she had it monogrammed with my initials (which is how I sign my artwork), and the lettering is so cleanly pressed in a way I've never seen before. I don't know which of Lotuff's artisans made this, but I'm grateful for the care, consideration, and attention to detail that was used. This person is truly talented and takes pride in their craft. I'm extremely grateful to my wife for this thoughtful gift, and I know that I'll treasure it always and forever. As a New Englander myself, I'm proud to own this piece, and I'm currently looking to purchase their travel journal and dopp kit. 03/06/26

Just got my folder, stunning like all their work. Leather is more pebbled than I expected which I like. A little bigger too. Could fit a couple legal pads, wallet, and a mouse with my 15” MacBook. Nice change from my triumph briefcase if I don’t want to carry as much.

I just received my purchase order for a leather portfolio in chocolate leather. Even though there were some delays the Lotuff team were very polite and able to always keep me informed.

The portfolio is well made with great attention to detail. It is a great piece. My father, who I ordered the piece for , is very happy with it.
